Expected release date of Vikings Valhalla
Currently, no release date has been announced for season three. Nonetheless, it was reported in June that filming for the third installment had officially begun. Meanwhile, fans can at least confirm that season three is in production while they await the next eight episodes, which were filmed in County Wicklow, Ireland.
Plus, with the first season dropping last Feb and the second following a year later, we can expect similar turnarounds in the coming seasons. Therefore, mark January 2024 on your calendar for the possibility of more episodes.
Vikings Valhalla casts:
A large part of the original cast of season two will return, led by Sam Corlett as Leif Eriksson, Frida Gustavsson as FreydisEirksdóttir, and Leo Suter as Harald Sigurdsson.
A new main character will also appear, including Merlin actor Bradley James, who will play Harekr, a legendary Viking ruler at Jómsborg. Additionally, Hayat Kamille will portray astronomer Mariam, a renowned figure in the field.
Marcin Dorociński will play former ruler of Kyivan RusYaroslav the Wise, and Sofya Lebedeva will play Eleana, daughter of a noble Kyivan Rus family member.
Season two’s new episodes will definitely feature these four new characters, along with the original three, but it is unknown if they will continue to appear in season three.
(Despite the fact that Leif, Freyds and Harald are important characters in the show, it is likely they will be recast for the remaining eight eps.)
