New MacBook Pro models may be launched by Apple soon. Earlier today, Apple tipster Jon Prosser predicted that the company would announce something later today. MacBook Pro and Mac mini models may be updated by the Cupertino-based company, reports say.
A new MacBook Pro is expected to debut at Apple’s Tuesday event, according to noted Apple tipper Jon Prosser. Ian Zelbo, a collaborator of Prosser’s, pointed out that the tech giant would post something on its PR newsroom. It is likely that it will be the long-awaited updates to the M2-series MacBook Pro.
According to Apple’s Newsroom, there have been no new MacBook announcements. Therefore, this tip should be taken with a grain of salt.
Ming-Chi Kuo had predicted last year that the new VR headset would be announced this month, but he said earlier this month that mass production would not begin until the end of Q2 or Q3.
Apparently, Kuo explained that the headsets were behind schedule because of mechanical component drop testing and the lack of software development tools.”
Features predictions:
Some reports indicate that new MacBook Pro models will feature 14-inch and 16-inch displays. While the design of the new MacBook Pro laptops may be the same as those of the 2021 models, they are rumored to be powered by M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets.
Another MacBook Pro has been discovered on the Canadian REL database, according to Twitter user Wade Penner (@wadepenner). Based on the tweet, the new Apple MacBook Pro model number is A2779. Apple’s latest Apple M2 Max or Apple M2 Pro chipsets may power the upcoming device, as per the tipster. A Wi-Fi 6E/ 6GHz connection is also said to be supported.
It is possible, however, that Apple will update its M2-series chips in Macs or the upcoming virtual reality headset.
In addition, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently predicted that the M2 Pro and M2 Max versions of the MacBook Pro would arrive in 2023 instead of 2022, the report said.
Apple is likely not to release new iterations of its 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros until 2023, according to an earlier report. He added that there may be a waiting period until March for those eager to get their hands on the new Macs.
Guruman and Kuo claim that MacBook Pros will have the M2 chip in the next iteration. Additionally, an M2 chip is likely to be added to the new Mac mini.
