In the state of Madhya Pradesh, the fifth iteration of the Khelo India Youth Games is now taking place. After the third day of competition on the 1st of February 2023, the hosts had amassed the most medals overall. On this particular day, Madhya Pradesh was awarded four medals, and every single one of those medals was a gold medal. The following two positions are held by the states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The Star Sports Network will provide live coverage of the tournament throughout its entirety.
During the course of the tournament, there will be a total of 27 different sporting events that will be participated in by over 6,000 competitors from all around the United States. The competition will begin on the 14th of January 2023 and continue until the 11th of February 2023. The multi-sport competition was initially conceived with the intention of giving young athletes a stage upon which they could demonstrate their skills. On the 30th of January, 2023, there was a large opening ceremony for the games that took place at the Tatya Tope Nagar Stadium in Bhopal. This marked the beginning of the games for this year.
Players that are younger than 22 years old are eligible to compete in the Khelo India Youth Games. At the Khelo India Youth Games, there will be a total of 27 different sporting events, and several of them, such as kayaking, canoeing, canoe slalom, and fencing, will be included for the very first time. After the first two days of the competition, only the round robin stages of the various sports are being played. This means that no teams have yet won a medal for their efforts.
The matches are taking place in a total of eight distinct locations throughout the state of Madhya Pradesh. In the state of Madhya Pradesh, the competition will take place in a total of eight cities: Bhopal, Ujjain, Indore, Gwalior, Mandla, Jabalpur, Balaghat, and Khargone (Maheshwar). However, only the cycling competition will be held in Delhi.
The events from the Khelo India Youth Games will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network for fans to watch. Additionally, the LIVE broadcast may be seen on Disney+ Hotstar.
