Shah Rukh Khan launched the Hyundai IONIQ 5 in India at the Auto Expo 2023 for Rs 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom). A total of Rs 1 lakh is required to book the electric vehicle, which was unveiled at the end of last year. This new electric SUV is the brand’s flagship product in India. Moreover, after the Kona Electric, this is the second all-electric model from the South Korean automaker. Among other vehicles in India, the vehicle will compete with the Kia EV6, Mercedes-Benz EQB, and others as a premium electric car.

Ravishing design and features
With its sensuous sporty design theme, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 stands out. A mix of retro and modern styling is evident, along with sharp lines. This car features Parametric Pixel LED headlamps, a clamshell bonnet, parametric pixel LED taillights, auto-flush door handles, and active aero alloy wheels. There is a total length of 4,635 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, and a height of 1,625 mm for the EV. Adding to this design, three colors have been introduced for the SUV, including Gravity Gold Matter, Optic White, and Midnight Black Pearl.
Powered packed battery:
With a floor-mounted 72.6 kWh battery pack, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV has a range of 631 kilometers (ARAI Certified). There is maximum torque of 350 nm and 214 horsepower produced by the electric motor. Hyundai claims a 350 kW DC charger is capable of charging EVs from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. Additionally, it includes Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS and Vehicle 2 Load.
